HCL is continuing on to deliver new and exciting features for the HCL Notes/Domino platform. The latest early access version is for HCL Domino 14.5 (in this case EA1 for early access drop 1). It contains tons of new stuff plus fixes, enhancements and optimizations.
My highlights:
- Domino as an OIDC provider - this is huge - so Domino can now act as an IDP and authenticate all of its services using the OIDC standard!
- Eclipse upgrade to 4.30
- AutoUpdate for software installs
- Replication enhancements – New PIRC (Purge Interval Replication Control) column
- Support for Sametime Web Chat/PWA – HCL Notes 14.5 introduces a new Sametime client option: “Enable Web Chat/Progressive Web Application (PWA).”
